Experimenting with the style always brings a new and different thing with bold and new look.Gone are the days when kitchens were in white or brown color.New generation designers are going for bold and  bright colors with a ease.

In the above listed modular kitchen we have used Orange color with white laminate,while designing this kitchen we have also tried black laminates instead of white to see how it will look.

Black color laminates gives a very strong and authentic to the kitchen because of it's nature.Although if the size of kitchen is small then we don't recommend you to use black color on a large scale because it will give you a cramped look and feel.Try to use printed glass or mdf painted sheets in stead of tiles on the wall  to give it an exclusive look.

Minimum breadth of the drawers in a modular kitchen should be 1.5 feet because lesser size than this will not help you in storage purpose properly.

Marble,tiles is generally used for flooring but you can go for wooden laminated floor for kitchen also as it is very easy and maintenance free.You can wipe it will wet cloth when cleaning it.

Kitchen now a days are not for cooking purpose only,they are being looked as a fashion statement by playing with the color combinations and shape of the kitchen.

Color selection depends on the taste of the person/client. Solid,bold,bright there are many shades and textures available now a days.If we are going for simple laminate look there are many shades in wooden texture also which are ever green for the kitchen. While choosing two different color shades for the kitchen prefer to go for bright/dark shade on the lower boxes and go for light color shades on the upper boxes along with slight glass touch also.Tall unit/pantry unit will be in the color tone of lower boxes,because of it's height it will merge with upper boxes and their it will compliment the color of upper boxes also.

Wall color also plays a very important role in enhancing kitchens look. Most commonly used material for wall is tiles but now a lot of interior designers are going with digital printed glass option with colorful look.Laminated option can vary from simple laminate door to lacquer paint to duco paint to PU polish.This selection depends on the budget of the client.

Choice of counter top depends on the budget of the client, for example if our budget is less then we can use granite,if our budget is medium we can go for composite marble and if our budget is high we can go for corian too.

False Ceiling.

Today we are going to discuss the advantage and disadvantage of false ceiling or down ceiling.
False ceiling is a virtual ceiling created just below the ceiling/roof of a room. It is created with plaster of Paris or gypsum board. The finishing of p.o.p. ceiling is better than gypsum board. P.O.P ceiling will cost you around Rs 90 per square feet where as gypsum ceiling will cost you Rs 60-65 per square feet.
There are many advantages of false ceiling and very few disadvantages.
False ceiling is created at least 7-8 inches below the real roof,so in such rooms your air conditioner will perform well because of the decreased area of the room.
False ceiling is used for lighting purpose also. There is no need to place bulbs on the wall, we can insert led's inside the ceiling to give a very good impact of the light to the room.
We can give/create numerous design of false ceiling just by playing with it's layers and cuttings.
Now a days, a lot of wood work is also done with the false ceiling. Wood or glass is becoming very popular among the people looking for ceiling work. A lot of different combinations can be done with the false ceiling and wood/glass.
False ceiling is very easy to install. For example, if you have a room of size 10ft X 10ft, it will take hardly 3-4 days to do the false ceiling for this area and it is very cost effective also.
All wires are hidden in the ceiling where false ceiling is done.

The only disadvantage of false ceiling is that if you are having roof at a low height  then it will bring you ceiling further down to 6-7 inches.

Modular Kitchen Components.

If we look at a kitchen it looks very simple from outer view,but from inside (inside the boxes) it has many components.It has drawer system,shelves unit,corner unit,pantry unit,lift ups and many other things.All these things are managed and installed as per the size and shape of the kitchen and also on the requirement of the client.
 If we talk about accessories and appliances then there is a never ending list of products but the most important and most use able accessories are cutlery unit/tray,flour unit,bottle pull out,masala pull out, corner unit (magic/s/d corner unit), pantry unit, cosario unit, gas hob,chimney,sink.

Cutlery unit tray comes in PVC,wooden ans stainless finish. We can buy them as per our budget and these trays comes in standard size of 2 feet and 3 feet.  Functionality of all trays is same.
Bottle pull out and masala pull out comes in wire basket and tandom finish with soft close mechanism. They comes in sizes like 6 inches, 8 inches.We can place sauces bottles, vinegar bottles in them.
Corner unit like magic corner,S- unit are the latest products in the market. These are the best products to make the full use of corner to it's potential.The only difference between the is their price. Magic corner is on the higher side when we see them with the cost point of view.
Pantry unit is the modified form of tall shelf unit. These units comes with 8,12 shelves in which we can  store sufficient quantity of daily stuff. It is made up of stainless steel which is rust proof and it also comes with a soft close mechanism.
