Kitchen Design.

While designing a modular kitchen, many minor to major issues should be kept in mind such as measurement,shape and window placement in the kitchen.
The standard slab/shelf size for modular kitchen is 2 feet(24 inches) and height of the lower shelf is 32/33 inches.Gas hob and chimney generally comes in two sizes i.e. 2 feet and 3 feet. If slab size is more than 10 feet then we can use a gas of 3 feet and if size is less than 10 feet then 2 feet gas hob and chimney is sufficient.Gas hob comes with two type of flames,Italian burner and Indian burner.
With Indian style of cooking,Italian flame is not that suitable because of it's low intensity heat flames.Moreover Italian burner consume more gas as compare to Indian burner.Keeping Indian market in mind,all hob and chimney making companies are coming with the idea of Indian flame burner. In case of  chimneys their functionality is same,they differ in size and looks only.You can choose chimney with glass look or solid look.
Avoid placing gas hob in front of window because while installing chimney it will create problem or you can use chimneys made for island,which are generally costlier in price.

Chimneys now comes with auto clean function,which makes them very hassle free to use.While choosing chimney for your kitchen always keep in mind their suction power  because more the suction power more is the capability of the chimney to  throw smoke and dust out.Similarly while choosing gas hob keep in the mind whether you want 2 burner,3 burner or 4 burner hob.
